Round

Round was a prototype for a new Russian bank which would bring simple and intuitive online banking to a country still more comfortable with face-to-face banking and cash payments.

This was a massive project for SomeOne/Else with the visual and interaction design evolving over many months of exploration and user testing. The concept centred on the idea of payments by conversation. Sending money became as simple as sending a text message. While to keep track of your transactions the user would just need to review their conversations with each contact or business. This allowed the user to quickly summarise their financial relationship with contacts or businesses over different time frames.

My role was focused on the design, working with lead designer Steve Waller and creative director Andy Moore. Other key people at SomeOne/Else involved in the project included Warren Hutchinson, Gavin Edwards and Mike McIntyre.
